I currently work at Fedora as an Outreachy Intern, supporting documentation, DEI initiatives, and contributor onboarding while building skills in systems programming and community leadership.

What I Do

Frontend development (React, Next.js, TypeScript), technical writing, and community engagement. I build tools, write documentation, and help onboard new contributors to open source projects.

Experience

I've worked with different organization including KodaSchool and Fourth Profile as a Technical writer, and Teksade & Alphaflare as a Software developer(also as a Product Manager) working with different technologies of Frontend.
(say, I have 2 years of experience in Frontend(React/Next.js), Backend - RPC(tRPC) and Product Management)

Projects

YapApp: A community-driven platform for pet lovers. Connecting *You* and your loving *meow*. (My dream focued project now, be sure to check it out when launched(soon))
CareSync: An application that let's you as a program manager in a medical facility manage patients and programs, give(as a doctor) feedback to patients.
And to many (My GitHub profile): other projects I've contributed in the Open Source realm, including caMicroscope, zsa among others.

Leadership & Community Involvement

I was a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador back in campus and later led the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) during my university years. I've actively volunteered to help grow the Avalanche ecosystem in Kenya and spoken at various events:

Dream Role

I'd love to work at a reputable organization (Red Hat) focusing on engineering, cloud development, or developer tools, Product Management - combining technical depth with community impact.
(Not necessarily Red Hat, but any organization that values open source and community)

Certifications

I've completed several certifications including KCNA (Kubernetes and Cloud Native Essentials) and Inclusive Open Source Community Orientation to strengthen my technical and community skills. Check my LinkedIn to learn more about my certifications and professional background.
